Visa
and MasterCard have deployed a relatively
new fraud protection systems. If you
are using one of these cards, depending
on your financial institute, you may be required
to setup a new password/code directly with
Visa or MasterCard for online purchases.
(This is NOT the three-digit AVS code printed
on the back of your card.) Many online merchants that
accept Visa/MasterCard are migrating to
this system for the card holder's protection.
Many merchants (including household names such as
CompUSA and WalMart) are already using this
system. Some financial institutes allow their card
holders to enroll during a purchase
session, and others do not. We recommend
that all users go directly to Visa or MasterCard's
websites to enroll. If your financial institute is
not yet participating, your purchase will
go through just fine, without a prompt for the
Visa/MasterCard password. For those whose
financial institutions are enrolled, you
will be required to have your password
to complete a purchase.
Please understand
that this is due to new policies from Visa/MasterCard,
and is outside of Thought Studios' ability
to control.

that enrollment is very fast, and
it's free. These services will provide added protection for
you as a card holder, particularly as more online merchants move
to this system. The

you have your password/code, come back and
select the Buy button to purchase
