Thought Studios, Inc. announces the release of Bravo! PlayerTM, a
free software application which augments the Bravo! media presentation package.
The release of Bravo! Player coincides with the release of an update to Bravo! that
includes the capability to export shows in the Bravo! Archived Media (BAM)
format. Bravo! is a software application
for creating dynamic presentations using digital images and audio. Jay Graham, the company’s chief scientist,
said “The BAM format was developed to be an efficient means for delivering
Bravo! creations to anyone. We have optimized the format for file size, while
making every effort to preserve the quality of the presentation."
The Bravo!
Player is anticipated to broaden the appeal of the company’s flagship product. “Bravo!
users are accustomed to sharing shows as screen savers. The support for the BAM
format, along with the release of the free Bravo! Player, expands the user’s
choices in how shows are shared” said Ken Hunt, Thought Studios’ president. “We
are meeting the number one request of our customers with the Bravo! Player. Our
generous licensing policy for the Bravo! Player gives end users the rights to
redistribute the player software with unheard of freedom.”
Other new
features in the recent Bravo! update include support for additional media formats and
support for user defined styles. Styles are a mechanism for rapidly creating
elaborate shows at the push of button, using Thought Studios’ Auto Show
technology. Users have long been able to modify shows derived from the numerous
built-in show styles. Now they have the capability to create and save their own
styles.
The Bravo!
software supports the most common image file formats found on the Internet, and
supports audio in the form of MP3, WAV, and WMA file formats. Bravo! runs under
Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. The Bravo! software can be downloaded
with an evaluation license of unlimited duration, along with the free Bravo!
