Thought Studios, Inc. announces the release of Bravo! Show CreatorTM
version 2.0. Previous versions of the software
were released simply as Bravo!. The
software is a slideshow application
which excels at producing sophisticated
presentations from digital photos and audio.
The shows produced can feature dynamic collage
effects, flowing streams of images, and
other broadcast-quality styles of presentations.
"Most slideshow software
follows the approach of the old mechanical
slideshow projector, presenting one photo
at a time. With Bravo! Show Creator, our
users can get sophisticated, engaging presentations
that involve multiple choreographed
images on screen at once" said Ken
Hunt, president of Thought Studios. "And
with our styles-based approach, our customers
can create new shows in minutes."
Jay Graham, Vice President of Engineering,
said "Our customers were looking for
more elaborate presentations than we were
able to offer in previous versions of our
product. But they weren't willing to give
up the expediency which they had grown accustomed
to. Our new pattern-based approach to creating
shows gives them a new level of control
without sacrificing the time-saving features
that we are known for."
Bravo!
Show Creator runs slideshows from within
the application, and can export shows as
screensavers and Bravo! Archived Media (BAM)
files which can be viewed with the free
Bravo! Player software. New to this
version is the ability to export video in either
AVI or MPEG-4 formats. Other new features
include support for transparency in the
image files (which allows for non-rectangular
images), and a smart-sort feature which
matches photos to the pattern based styles based
on their aspect ratio (i.e. width to height
ratio).
The Bravo!
software supports most common image file formats, and
supports audio in the form of MP3, WAV, and WMA file formats. Bravo! runs under
Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows Vista. The Bravo! software can be downloaded
for a 14-day evaluation, along with the free Bravo!
